Come along on a guided tour where you will experience skiing – perhaps for the very first time – in the beautiful forest landscapes of Skellefteå. Glide through the soft snow as we explore the woods, enjoying the sound of skis against the snow. Along the way, we will pause to fully appreciate the surrounding nature, and you will be served a hot drink and a light snack. You will come back filled with new impressions, knowledge, and plenty of photos capturing your snowy adventure!

Your journey into the scenic white forest starts with easy-to-use short skis. These off-track forest skis are often referred to as ‘gliding snowshoes’, or ‘ski-shoes’. They are shorter and wider than traditional skis, combining the best features of snowshoes and skis. This design makes them very stable, allows you to glide through soft snow among the trees, and is ideal for beginners as well. Additionally, they have an integrated climbing skin to ensure good grip on uphill slopes.
The tour is set at Vitberget, a beautiful outdoor recreational area near the city center. Leaving the crowds and groomed tracks behind, we can fully enjoy the nature experience.

- No need of previous skiing experience
- Forest skis and ski poles included. The skis bindings work with normal winter boots. Winter boots are available for rent, please contact us for more information
- You can use your own winter clothes. Bring an extra layer to put on during the break.
- We recommend you to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. The meeting point will be told later on.
