Snowmobile Adventure with Winter Camping

Discover the Arctic Nature
Join us for a memorable Arctic adventure combining fun snowmobile riding with a cozy tent night in the winter wilderness. Together with experienced guides, you’ll travel through snow-covered forests and experience the peace and beauty of nature. In the evening, we gather around the campfire and enjoy delicious food. If we’re lucky, the northern lights may appear above us.
And off we go…
We travel at a relaxed and comfortable pace through the winter landscape, following winding snowmobile trails through dark forests and across frozen lakes. Along the way we stop for traditional “Swedish fika” and take plenty of breaks for photos. With some luck, we may encounter wildlife such as moose, reindeer, foxes or even a lynx. We also keep an eye on the sky for white-tailed eagles that nest in the area.
As evening approaches and twilight settles over the forest, we arrive at our campsite. Here, we put on forest skis and quietly glide among the trees, searching for animal tracks. We take time to notice small details in nature and listen to the subtle sounds of the winter forest. Together, we then set up camp and prepare for the night.
Around the campfire, everything slows down and a sense of calm takes over. After a day full of experiences, we enjoy a delicious dinner with local flavors. To the soothing crackle of the fire, you’ll hear stories about the northern lights, animals, and life in the north while we gaze up at the star-filled Arctic sky. When it’s time to sleep, we crawl into warm, comfortable sleeping bags inside the tents, surrounded by snow, silence, and the soft sounds of the forest.
Wake up in the forest
Waking up in a tent in the depths of winter is an experience in itself. Is the sun shining, or are snowflakes gently falling? Have animals passed by during the night? The morning begins slowly with breakfast outdoors and the first cup of coffee enjoyed in the crisp winter air.
After packing up camp, we continue by snowmobile toward Bjuröklubb, known for its dramatic coastline and wind-shaped pine trees. The vast sea views resemble the openness of the mountain landscapes. Following scenic trails, we then return to Lappvik, where the tour ends with a delicious lunch in a cozy setting. An old farm barn has been thoughtfully transformed into a welcoming gathering place, preserving the area’s history and agricultural traditions. Filled with unforgettable memories, we say: see you again!
Practical Information
On this tour, we provide most of the needed equipment and you only need to bring your personal items, such as a tooth brush. Life in the wilderness is simple, so leave fashion, makeup, and perfumes at home!
Please inform us of any medical conditions that could pose a risk during the tour. Keep in mind that exposure to cold environments can be challenging, so a basic level of fitness is required. We do not recommend pregnant women to take part on this tour.
How to Dress
Start with a warm base layer, ideally made from wool. Avoid cotton, as it loses its insulating properties when damp. Add a mid-layer made of wool or fleece, and bring an extra mid-layer to put on if needed. A down jacket or west is also good to have. Don’t forget warm socks, a woolen hat and knitted mittens to keep you comfortable during your sleeping bag experience.
What We Provide
Before leaving you will get a warm, wind- and water proof overall to wear during all daytime activities. Additionally, warm winter boots, gloves, buff and a thin hat to wear under the snowmobile helmet are provided.
All meals are included: “Swedish fika”, dinner on the first evening, and breakfast and lunch on the second day.
Create Memories
Once your dressed properly, it’s time to head off. You will get instructions how to drive the snowmobile to fully enjoy the experience. You will be two persons sharing one snowmobile, taking turns to drive-if you have a valid driving licence for cars.
In the evening we will go skiing and enjoy the peaceful silence of the forest. We’ll gladly assist in capturing photos of your snowy adventure.
